I should prepare an analytical report but have no idea about its content. Doe's any boy have any template for analytical project report?

Thank you for your attention, our project is development of 20 &21 phases of south pars gas field in Iran. and I am responsible for planning of drilling part of this mega project. The project is in progress and top management of our company, OIEC, would like to have this analytical report. They want to have planning department's judge about the project performance, its problems and areas of concern. I have searched in the web about the matter and don't find related topic, but I have gathered some ideas about the potential content of this report:
1-Engineering status
2-Drilling and Logistic services contracts
3-Procurement status
4-Drilling operation
5-Human resource
6- Financial report: cash flow
7-QHSE
8- Project metrics such as EVPM indexes
9- Project risks
As the report wil be issued for top management it should be summarized and maximum in 3 pages.
Questions:
1) What type of project is it?
2) Is the project in the future, in progress, or complete?
3) What is the purpose of the "Analytical report"? -eg reporting on schedule quality, variance analysis, risks to completion, performance to date, etc?
