I was assigned to develop and track a LNG project schedule, but i have no experience in this area.

Is there anyone experienced in this area. This project is a EPC contract.

Can you give me some advice on how to develop this schedule, easy to track it?

Many thanks!

Hi Jian

First thing to consider in developing a schedule for an LNG project is to know the MS (milestone) set by the client or find out the areas needed to complete first prior to acceptance of the first gas.

Sample of the areas need for fiirst RFSU.

1. Inlet area

2. LNG TRains

3. LNG Tanks

4. Utilities

5. Pipe Racks

6. Condensate Tanks

7. AGRU

8. MOF

And also, check your construction dates against the procurement especially the delivery of the modules and pipe racks.

Anning Sofi,thanks!

I was not familiar how to post a new message in the forum, so i saved too many times.

I will try to delete the duplicated ones .

I will try my best to get more support in my company, and do my best to get more information about the LNG process and the opertation progame between Engineering and Procurement, even to the Construction.

If you have any advice , please let me know , thanks!

Ok Jian, just kidding you.

I once worked as junior planner of a planning team in the construction of a Gas Oil Separator Plant and Prime Mechanical facilities project; A parallel project of another planning team was involved in LNG (onshore), and that is why I am aware how complicated and demanding these projects can be. Normally, the key personnel possess wide and extensive knowledge in the industry, and this includes the guy responsible for developing the programme of the works.

Anyway, your question has been raised before in the forum.

Many thanks!
