Dear all,

I'm getting trouble with PPM rel 8.2 thus I'd like to ask you all for solutions.

During my PPM using, there's always a message notify "Event code" error.

At the first time, I thought it caused by my using version wasn't completely compatible with win7 but I even met this issue when upgraded to latest one (rel 8.2).

p6_event.pngI also did try to re-install it but it wasn't better.

If I ignore that warning by clicking on "OK" button, then all the labels text are disappeared.

Have you ever experienced the same problem? How can I bypass it?

I'm using win7 x64.

Thank you so much.

Hi Daniel,

I've tried to un-install, clear registry, then re-install but it's still the same

Here are exactly what I get:'

When I click to button "More"

When I change to tab "Conte"

Tab E

In reality, I'm not sure if Oracle supports me in this case or not. My company purchased EPPM but PPM. However, it's difficult to access to our server from outside. Thus I tried to download and use PPM at home.

If you experenced this trouble, I hope you would help me to bypass it.

Thank you so much.

Hi Dinh,

Actually the programme does not use that much space, 4GB should be more than enough, it is when the database is corrupted that you will start getting these event codes popping up all the time. Try to uninstall and re-install the programme first (Stand Alone Version) and if there is anymore problem, you should consult your Oracle Administrator.

Best regards,

Daniel

Thank you so much, Daniel,

I'm going to follow your instruction, however, I'm a little bit confusing because there is a restriction with data storage

"Oracle Database Express Edition is designed to provide users with 4 GB of user data storage. Physical storage is limited to a database size of 5 GB of total overall size. This includes the system tablespace, but excludes temporary and rollback"

So, how can you increase your size to 10Gb.

Or you did mean memory?

Can you please describe in detail?

Thanks & best regards,

KhanhDQ

Hi Dinh,

I encountered the same problem before and your Oracle Database is probably corrupted or the capacity is too small. I resolved the problem by increasing my XE database capacity from 2 gig to 10 gig and un-install and re-installed the P6v7 as a stand alone version. This problem normally occurs when you have a big programme and your database capacity is small.

Also back-up before you do anything and back-up regularly.

Regards,

Daniel
