Strange thing with schedule % complete

Hi
Well I am watching a strange thing with schedule % complete when i run the schedule The schedule % complete changes and within a 3-4 seconds again the Old figure of Schedule % complete apperres in the schedule ...Its Like Suppose initally Schedule % comp. is 5% and when i run the schedule after DD+15 days ...The schedule % comp just after running appear 8.2% and within a same minute Its Going back again at 5 % ....I run the schedule with DD+100days then also the same figure 5% is showing as schedule % complete...Is it not strange ?

Hi ravirg,

Schedule % Complete = Planned Value Cost @ any Data Date/Baseline Budgeted Total Cost

This is how primavera summarizes schedule % complete. Schedule % complete depends on the cost loaded baseline schedule.

If the cumulative loaded cost in the baseline does not change after period of time, then the schedule % complete is also the same throughout that period.

Hi,

What does you mean by running the schedule after DD+15 days? Did you mean changing the DD to a new date 15 days later?
