Hi,
I have just added some new activities to my project in P6, the orginal project was baselined and I'm wanting to update to some my new activities in the baseline budget.
The costs for the new actvities are showing in the budgeted labour cost but not in the BL project labour cost, what am i doing wrong?
This is the process i did:
Project/Mantain Baseline/Select latest Baseline/Update/Tick 'Add new activities and data' box/Update
Once update still no cost have been added to the BL Project labour cost coloumn i have set up.
Any ideas???

Great help so far....
Can you talk me through the process of baseline and updates (this is using P6)
1. baseline original project, this now become project
2. a few weeks later add additional activities (these are to be shown in the orginal baseline)
3. ????

If costs are to be shown as BL Project cost, the original BL has to be updated first and then assigned as the new baseline to current project.

i think you should add the activities to the program and make it baseline 2, then u will be able to compare costs, otherwise if you are using p6, then first unassign the baseline, detach it from the project, add new activities and relative costs in it and again assign it to the project.................. rgrds,
