Importing Activity Codes

HI,

Is there any way to import activity codes defined in excel. ??

That file can do the export and import.

1) First, check if you have SDK installed in your system. If not, install using your P6 installation CD.

2) Open the Excel File (Project.xls), checl first if you can log-in. If you have a successful log, you must find all the projects lists.

3) There is "Get Activity Codes" - for import from P6 to excel file and "Set Activity Codes" -  for export from excel file to P6.

I am just not in the office to give you the snapshots.

I have that file. but it explains you can only import the activity codes that are already defined in primavera.

Please explain.

Yes you can import activity code in excel. If you can find Project.xls (an SDK file), there's a sheet that does all that. I am just not in the office right now to send you the file.
