EPS-Activity Code

There’s a excel file available (From Primavera) called Dictionary6x to transfer activity ciodes, project codes, resources, roles, cost accounts, calendars and many others except EPS codes.

Available in primavera knowledgebase.

But it does requires "View Global\Project Data Via SDK" Global Permissions to Export.

Cheers,

Hi

If you’ll create an EPS-code, with the same name as the one to be transferred, within the target database, all those values assigned within your XER will be created. This already worked under P5 (after SP?)

Good luck!

Hi Hannes

The Primavera Knowledgebase solution (prim39021) clearly explains how to import EPS level via XER. My understanding is that EPS activity codes are automatically exported as part of the XER file, but if you haven’t structured that recieving DB correctly, the system will ignore these codes when re-importing. There is also a XLS based program for importing / exporting global data that hooks into the database using the SDK that is avaliable via the knowledgebase (prim10191), but you will need to be a superuser to use it & I’m not sure if it has EPS level data.

P.S. There is also a app, that can convert XER to xls

Hi,

For P6 only these three are available (Project, Resource only & Role only) can be exported to .xer file. I don’t know if there is other way. Any Idea Guys???
