Resource Types

Hi All,

My querry is related to the Resource Types in MSP. Is it technically correct to describe Manpower (carpenters, bar benders, plumbers, masons, etc) as Material types in MSP.
As per me, any resource available after consumption should be defined as Work Resource ( Manpower, Equipments) and those not available as Material Resource type ( concrete, blockwork).
But my seniors differ on this are OK with defining all as defined above as Material Type for a schedule submitted by our contractors.

Guide me with this to put my point more technically if I am correct to my seniors.

Rohit

It's simple. If they are material resources, they should be defined as such. What's the purpose of defining labor resources as materials? Did they explain the purpose?
