Filtering Relationship Lags

Dear Jihad,

There should be no way that can filter out lags as lag is a data between a predecessor and a successor. That means it involve two activities. Hence in one activity you cannot find 'lag' as a filterable data.

Using report to search is a way to do it.

Regards and happy reporting,

Schedule Cracker (www.schedulecracker.com) provides what you are looking for.  We identify lag through relationships, filter them or group activities by lag and much more.  Our powerful tool allows you to compare multiple schedules, trend project-performance values, and forecast project performance, and much more.

If you are asking how to create an activity relationship report, here’s how you do it.

1. On reports screen, click Add

2. Choose Activity Relationships as subject area

3. Choose fields you are interested in seeing.

4. Set filter as Lag < 0.

If you are asking something else, please rephrase.

Regards,

Bill

Dear Bill,

How can you create a report with subject area "activity relationships" not defined in P3e? And customizing this data is not wise thing to do.

If you want to get a listing of negative lag relationships, one way to get this is by creating a report.

Create a report with subject area activity relationships, show columns you are interested in, and you can filter where lag < 0.

Regards,

Bill
