Most of the problems arise from p3 to p6 conversion are calendars problems.

So check that calendars and working hours match those in p3

Thank you for your clarification, but I need how can i solve th problem that i face it now

Note : out of sequence is result from relationship of crews that  i was planned to use them in the construction

Hmmm...now you're confused about the whole idea

When I said you should change the sequence yourself, I did not mean that you should change the sequence in favor of the Employer's risk. You should be able to differentiate between your delays and the Employer's ones.

And sometimes there is no delay involved. It is just a change in sequence than that was originally planned.

but also it's not good idea change sequence of work every update, because it will effect in our rights to prepare claim in the furture

Jihad,

Its not a good idea/practice to use progress override to overcome out of sequence activities. You should change the sequence yourself.

Haitham.

Dear Gary

The reason that forced me to schedule using project override was when i made schedule using retained logic there was out o sequence between the activities ( rebar activity finish after formwork activity in walls )

When i made schedule using project override on p3 the problem of out of sequence solved but when i converter it to p6 the problem didn't solved.

What happens when you schedule both using retained logic?

When you get different results, what different results do you get?

do these affect completed activities, in progress, or planned?

can you see any pattern with affected activity types, calendars, constraints, resources or relationships?

Do you have out of sequence working?
