I have some problem...
In the same project ,Activity "A" can be carried out only day shift ( 8 hrs), and Activity "B" to be carried out day and night shift ( 24hours).
Please let me know how to assign the different calendar for the same project in Primavera P6

Another point to remember is that different calendars will affect the critical path - for instance:
If your 24hr task ends in the middle of a hoilday period and is linked to an 8hr task that starts after the holiday the gap will register as float.

To create or ammend different calendars, go to Enterpise > Calendars
Assigning a calendar to a particular activity can be done in the general tab of the activity details window
NB: When using different calendars on a project, it is important to understand which calendar will be used when calculating lags. To do this, got to tools > schedule > options.
