Hi,
I need to complete procurement schedules / procurement programmes for refurbishment & extension projects.
As the projects are fast track and and the design stage merges with the construction phase I only have concept drawings for the projects but no spec, etc. Therefore I need to make asupmtions on materials ,trades, finishes.
I need to get an idea of any examples of other users procurement schedules or procurement programmes in particular thourough schedules of possible materials / trades required etc for generic construction projects.
Any help would be great
Thanks
Because it is the refurbishment & extension project. Why not get some reference information from the previous project?

Hi Gary,
I racked my brains and found what I wanted by re-visiting CAWS / NBS.
Thanks for your time

Hi Donald
It is relatively simple to set up a procurement cascade for all the tasks for procuring sub contract packages and material supply.
The trick is to link it to the first requirement in the programme for any particular package.
I use PowerProject where it is relatively simple to set up a hammock for each packagae and then link the procurement cascade to the start of the hammock - set the procurement to ALAP and your procurement will track progress automatically.
Also any delay in procurement will also register a delay in the work programme.
Best regards

Duncan,
What are you refurbing / extending? houses? (socail? luxury?) Process plants? Offices? High Rise?
It's very rare for planners to share example programmes here, but common for them to share knowedge and advice.
Cheers,
