Hi friends

      I want to know the thumb rule for man power planning. For eample:- i am taking 35 hous for detail engineering for equipment design for A1 size, 72 Hous for stress analysis report and so on in my project .similarly i wnat to know the thum rule for construction and erection of steel structure ( manhour per tonne), cable laying ( manhour per metre), Piping erection ( Manhour per inch metre) etc. any refrence or guidence.

Hi Kumar,

 

More info are required to naswer your question, indeed, steel erection ratio will not be the same for erection of stick-built structure or prefabricated pipe rack; manually cable pulling or with electrical winch, piping erection is also function of location (inside unit or on racks)... ... Maybe you can detailed your request

In addition, this will also be impacted by the country, either you know the local average productivity factor or you may need to adapt the ratio based on local feedback.

 

Also, did you look at the rates part of this site, it may contains some.
