Guys,
Would like you guys opinion on the easiest way to develop, manage and control an execution master schedule. The schedule will be to level 4 detail, level 4 been the control and cost centre.
Will be using P6. I would like to intergrate about 4 consultant schedules along with interfaces. There isnt any server or network connecting the schedules. Which will be the easiest ways to update the master schedule?
Any ideas?

Are you comfortable with using multiple projects and inter-relationships between them in Primavera? if your master network is separate from your consultant networks then you can create from LOE activities and link them to your consultant network, which gets updated automatically when the consultant networks get updated.
Its always advisable to have detailed networks seperate cause then you just import the updated file that is sent to you into your existing network and auto update it. Then have these networks connected to your master network to update these files.
It sounds a bit complicated but works. Had the same dilemma when was working on an airport project with 30 sub-packages and subcontractors, it worked their but had its own share of problems too.
