I have to intergrate 2 substations from our sub-contractors Project into ours in logical form I'm really struggling to do this is their any 1 that can help me with this please.
The sub-contractors substation is over a 100 lines so I want to use only their main headings in our program bur now the dates don't work out and it dos not work in logical form. I'm really battling with this as I'm only still on junior level.
Is their any 1 willing to assist me please.

But now my Director wants me to revise out program in MS Projects which is fairly a new challenge for me as I never needed to revise a program as my previous Projects always finished on time.
So I need to rollup their main tasks into ours which I find very difficult to do. I have added them into our program but to make logical sense of them is a battle to me. We are all ready running 46 days behind schedule so I'm hoping if we revise this Program the slippage would look a lot less which in terms it should.
Without this program we will be unable to claim for loss time and I fear my career might also have a negative impact on this reschedule/revised program. This program I did not create which is making it even more difficult for me to work out the logic.
This is my first time working with Civils I find it really challenging and intresting.

The first question I would need to ask is which Planning Software are you working? I may only be able to help if you are using CCS (Majority of my planning experience) however I do know that this is a fairly common operation in P3/P6.
The principal is fairly simple. Your subcontractors program would be referred to as a Team Plan or a Level 4 Program, showing allot of detail.
Your program should only really refer to their program on a Level 3 or Stage/Phase Plan. So in other words a "rolled up" version. These "rolled up" activities should focus on Subcontractor milestones.
Bear in mind it is always easier to simplify or roll up the plan before transferring/importing the program and that you should make a copy every step of the way in case you make a mistake (for the lack of a better word)!
