Rashid,
On my experience integrating P6 to any Cost Control package is not a problem. P6 can mirror the setup of Cost Accounts and very helpful in cost control, cash flow, forecasting and EV.
Dont even dare...
Cost control is not the earned value managment only that we load the hrs in there and will put % complete and produce the EV....
As sold estimate is recasted into BHA..Budget holding accounts. As the project progresses we know as who is doing what then the budget transfers are generated to transfer from the BHAs to ACA (Active Control Accounts) and on and on....
Just use the scheduling engine for scheduling...or max for the Earned Value..Thanks.
Regards
Rashid
Barry,
Yes it can, you can use UDF for additional fields to match the requirements. P6 also an open database where you can easily integrate to any customize system
