I just came back onto the forum to say that this was indeed the problem. I could see the bars on my target project so I copied the xxxxLAY.P3 file and renamed it yyyyLAY.P3 and it worked fine. The column layout has changed to that of the target project but that is easy fixed but at least now I can continue and get my reports sent out. Thanks for your help and hope it helps others if they hit a similar problem. If that doesnt work, Im fairly sure the P3 file which holds the layout data is *LAY.P3.
