Hi - We have just added a calendar viewing facility to our XER Schedule Viewer - It will produce all the detailed shift pattern data along with year summary wallcharts!  The viewer is COMPLETELY FREE to download and use from our website and operates within MS Excel so no need for any specialist software installation:

The viewer also has a gantt viewing facility along with 12 point schedule health check!

For us it is very common to have different work-hours in occasions like Christmas Eve, in these occasions we have a shorter workday, usually from 8:00am to 1:00pm, then we have a complimentary Christmas dinner at work before leaving, the same goes for Thanksgiving Day Eve.

How this special 5 hours workday would show on the P6 archaic Calendars printout or “print screen”?

Basically can’t be done unless you screen print every page.

Forget about P6 calendars, printing a whole calendar to find out about a few exceptions a year is nonsense, better get the Times Swimsuit Calendar. Just imagine a job with 20 calendars with a time span of 2 years, a regular job without using named resources each with a unique calendar; even under this scenario, you would have to print 20x12x2 = 480 months.

Come on, get real, forget about printing calendars in P6, it is like stepping in front of a table with your left foot on floor, your right foot on top of the table and bending over to lace your left shoe.
