Hi, Green.
One more thing: what software is your plan in? If its in Spider Project, there is a functionality that measures the drag of each critical path activity. The drag is the amount of time a CP activity is adding to the project duration -- a 30-day activity on the CP may be adding anywhere from zero days to 30, depending on the parallel paths, durations, precedence relationships, lags and merge points.
You dont want to be wasting your time figuring out how to compress a 30-day activity to 15 days if it only gains you 2 days -- youd be much better off shortening a 12-day activity to 7 days.
In addition to Spider, drag calculation functionality is also available at PlanontheNet.com from Radhu Software, and as an add-on to MS Project 2007 through The Project Optimizer from Sumatra.com. Sumatra currently has a free trial version download of The Project Optimizer at:

(And no, I dont have any financial arrangement to get payments from any of the above!)
Fraternally in project management,

Thanks again..
We will apply EOT for this project.
Dear Green,
Finishing the project needs the input of the Construction team. Give us a small description (scope and current resources) of the project and we will try to assist in the Constructabilty as well.
With kind regards,
Samer
Thanks to all for the info.
I will try to do the best.
If there is any additional suggestion,
all are most welcome to text me.
Tq.
Dear Green,
It seems that you want to complete your project within the Contractual time. This is called also a recovery plan.
You need to review your Critical Path at this time and find out the activities that have zero or negative float. Try to understand what it takes to complete these activities.
Of course what the guys said makes sense. But if you want to keep your eyes on the Schedule, then you need to give these critical activities your attention and get them back to the acceptable levels.
With kind regards,
Samer
Hi Green
In addition, check your monitoring pro-gramme critical path which has to be accelerated upon discussion with your project team
Hi Green Berg,
You have to talk to your Construction Manager and Project Manager to do a recovery plan. They should have a better understand of Project situation. Gather all outstanding activities and estimate the remaining durations for each task with the help of QS and construction personnel, engineers and construction manager. Sit down with construction manager for the construction sequence of the outstanding works and current resources on the project. Do a “what if” analysis using the current productivity if resources are enough or required an acceleration to catch up the delay. If resources are not enough is their any budget constrain? Do a different scenario using budget constrain, resource constrain then present all those options if acceptable by Project Manager & Construction Manager.
