while working with MS Project 2010, I also had these strange message, with no apparent reason; I cannot see any alphabets in the Duration field as Balaji is suggesting; could be a bug?

Check the duration column, by mistake there may be some alphabets in duration for one or more activity.
Thats the only thing i can see in it.

When I open certain files and it occurs as I expand levels or scroll down through sections.
Have discovered I have duplicated what ever it is, as one schedule I have expanded out now has the error occuring multiple times.
