RG
havent tried yet, but this seems perfect.
thanks a lot !
Johnny,
Yes you can schedule all project once for every open project.
Step in Scheduling all open Project with or without Project interlink.
1) Project Window-> show column data date.
2) Change the data date on the first project to new data date (1st on the top)
3) Highlight all Project open while the cursors is on data date then press ctrl+e (fill down)
4) Press F9 and select option if have project interlink (optional) and make sure “Ignore relationship to and from other project is un-tick.
5) then click Schedule.
That should perform a normal schedule on all project open
hi Rodel,
thanks for the master info.
but the master schedule still doesnt schedules (understand that it doesnt set the data date) in the linked ("dependent") projects... is this normal ?
can we schedule once for every open project ?
(considering that not every task goes as planned)
Johnny,
Project Window-> Set Default Project
As per help:
Mark the checkbox to designate one project as the default project to use when you open multiple projects. This project opens automatically the next time you open this group of projects. It also uses this project’s scheduling and leveling settings for calculating the schedule (manually or via the Job Services feature) and it becomes the default destination for new items such as activities or issues unless you group the layout by WBS and select a different project before adding new items.
