Hi Anbin,



Perhaps the problem is within the creation of your new Resource Curve. I am not quite sure what you have done, but anyway, you solve your own problem. You discover something.

Dear Sir,



First I created a resource curve for each activity and assigned to all resources regardless of the pay item.But I faced problem in the cost.



Now I have created separate resource curves for each pay item and assigned and updated the cost comes correct.



for example,

for the electrical activity with the pay items,

1.Conduits

2.Cables.

3.Switches & Lights.

Previously I have assigned a common resource curve for all the pay items above.But the problem was not fixed.

Now I have created separate resource curve for each pay items & assigned the problem got fixed.



Is that the procedure.Am I doing correct.

Hi Anbin,



Try to check your Duration Type. It should be Fixed Duration & Units. What Resource Curve did you assign?

I am working for a Project of 226 Villas.The Client told us to Have only 10 Activities Per Villa.

1.Substructure

2.SuperStructure

3.Roof WaterProofing

4.Mechanical Hvac

5.Mechanical Plumbing

6.Electical & All System

7.Civil Finishes

8.Doors & Windows

9.Specialities,Wood & Plastic

10.Site Preparation & Boundar Wall

For Mechanical HVAC,Mechanical Plumbing & Electrical I dont want the Cost to be Distributed Uniformly,So that i Create a new Resource Curve Mechanical HVAC & Modify it

After that I Select the Activity Mechanical HVAC Click Activity Detail->Resource Tab->Curve

I Assigned Curve to all Resource Assigned to That Activity

After Assigning The Curve if i Saw The Budgeted Cost it Getting Changed

Hi Anbin,



If I understood you correctly, you assigned Curve to your Activities and not to the Resources.



As far as I know, if you assigned a curve, only the cost distribution per day/week/month will change according to the assigned Resource Curve but not the Budgeted Cost. Correct me if I am wrong.



What did you do, can you elaborate further.
