Lucas,

I assume this is a new build, not extension of existing facilities?

For waste water, some other things to watch out for are:

-Is Odour Control required? If so, it may be that this must be commissioned before wet commissioning of the process stream(s) begins.

-How will the final sludge be processed? If by digestion then you may have to allow for working near dangerous gases (hot work permits, specialist operators, etc)

-For commissioning, some of the process units may require initial ’seeding’ with activated sludge. Depending on size and design of the plant, these can be considerable quantities.

-special piling techniques may be required to ensure no contamination of below-ground aquifers
