Thanks for your input guys.



I found a work around for me. I just use the resource ID, export to excel and use a lookup formula to find the team leader responisble for the people under a certain ID.

FYI – resource code is available only on resource module and cannot be possible on activity module. If you are looking for filtering or grouping your resource in activity module the only work around you can do is to use Roles instead of resource codes.



Note: If multiple resources assigned in an activity or multiple roles assigned in an activity it will not repeat the activity and instead the groupings will be all the roles or resources within the activity.



If the this is the case better use activity code (i.e. responsibility)

Not able to see the name of the resource code in the activity filter.



Seems to be no link between resource codes and activities.

However it seems that filtering on resource ID can help me out.

Hi Christian,



If you want to filter your activities according to the assigned Resource with corresponding Resource Code, in the Resource Code Definition, make sure that you know the Resource Code Name, say; "Engineer"



In the Filter, you cannot find the Parameter "Resource Code" instead the Resource Code Name "Engineer".

I don’t know exactly what you want, but as far as my little knowledge is concerned, - activity codes are for activities, while resource codes are for resources.



I don’t really think that would be a lot of work, when you can always use the "fill down".

There are no way to filter or group activities based on resource code?



I can of course use the resource usage spreadsheet to filter and group based on resource codes but I would prefer to use the activities and gantt chart.

define an activity code that would be equivalent to the resource code, and assign to corresponding activities
