Dear Shahul,

Please consider that some successor deliverables activity can start without waiting approval of predecessor one.

Ex: P&ID’s shall be a pred. of Isometrics but you will not wait for P&ID’s approval to start isometrics. You can revize IFC documents if necessary.

Safak

Dear Shahul,

It depends on your project and the type of material or shop drawings submittal.

You need to determine that during the early meetings with all parties at the start of the project.

On average you need to give 1.5 cycle time for resubmission. Usually the review period is between 1-2 weeks.

Your contractor should not be a wise guy and provide you will all the submittals to see at the same time with a review period between 1-2 weeks. This should be planned clearly depending on the stage of the project.

Plenty of ideas, but the best thing a team can do is to agree on a course of action at the start of the project.

With kind regards,

Samer
