Mike,

P3 and SureTrak are outdated software, not supported by Primavera anymore. New software has better functionality as it is the case for Asta Power Project. The solution supplied here for P3 is the best I heard up to now for this particular software.
In Spider Project you delete them using the links table view; after sorting, filtering, selecting all or selecting individually a few ones. Only selecting one or all without the option to select from a filter, sort or a selection where you cannot clearly see the link definition is somewhat limited, don’t use the Gantt view, is confusing and error prone.
Best regards,
Rafael
Hi All
I have been following this thread with a wry interest.
To delete links in powerproject you just click on the link - it turns green - and hit delete on the key board.
To delete all links just click on one link - select all - and all links go green - hit delete.
If you want to retain links in a hammock then lable the links as "hammock" and deselect this category before deleting.
Why cant all software be that simple.
Best regards
Mike Testro.
Thanks to all.
It worked with SureTrak P3 files, same as if P3 the hammocks links were erased.
Good to know in case I ever have to use SureTrak again.
Best regards,
Rafael
Dear anbin
The change on file p3.INI will not change the configration of the soft ware it self?
Thanks Shahul for answering that. The REL file contains all the relationships including hammock.
hi
on doing below mentioned procedure hammock also remain unlinked
Raviraj,
What happens to the hammock activities? No issue at all? Does P3 warns you of undefined links for hammock activities or not?
SureTrak being a lower end product does not warns you about undefined links in hammock activities while other high end software warns you about hammock activities with undefined links.
Out of curiosity I no longer have P3 and SureTrak will be gone from my computer in a few weeks after my last SureTrak job is finished.
Best regards,
Rafael
Many thanks Raviraj,
from the newly created project file. REL file stores only the relationships
u can try with one of ur draft programs.
IT WORKS
@ Raviraj
Replacing blank rel.p3 should be from the newly created project file or the same project file without links ?
Theres one more way out...
There r 23 files with each program.
One of the file is rel.p3
replace the current project rel.p3 file with a blank rel.p3 and all ur relationships will be deleted.
Cheers,
Thanks shaneouz ,perfect solution

Hi Shaneouz,
Thanks for the reply
But I could not find P3.INI file in the Windows folder?
Hi,
To unlink all relationships – First go windows folder and open P3.INI file then add the following line to the [Options]:
UnlinkAllRels=1
To unlink only finish to start relationships, change the line to UnlinkAllRels=0.
Save and exit the file.
Now select all activities and mark Unlink option. Hope it will work
Hi,
Even if we delete the links and then import, still the link remains.
HI
I guess you can export and delete all the links and then import using activity ID
