Hi Wilfredo,

1. The Scheduling Log will report Finish-to-Start Relationships as invalid. The Finish-to-Start Relationship Type is a valid Relationship to all Activity Types. The issue is specific to the Scheduling Log incorrectly flagging Relationships as invalid between Milestones and has no effect on Scheduling.

2. If constraints cannot be satisfied because of logic, they would be listed under unsatisfied constraints. Also, there may be an unsatisfied constraint because, as the data date moves forward, a date constraint can simply be bypassed. Activities with constraints show in log file as unsatisfied if activity has not been completed/finished.

3. The activities with unsatisfied relationships are reported any time a relationship is not honored, because of constraints.

4. Activities that are not on any float path are shown for information only and do not indicate any error in the schedule. To remove them from the log, schedule the project without using multiple float paths. This section of the schedule log only appears when using the advanced scheduling option, to calculate multiple float paths. This option specifies a maximum number of float paths to be calculated; therefore, all activities may not fall within a float path.

Regards,

Arnold
