Dear Kamarul,
You are completely right,in P6 you can not show the summarization of the Baseline, and that was acknowledged by the company themselves.
Realy it is very bad for all planners.
If you are compeled to do the same ,it can be done by using the user defined showing the progress on a summary bar for base line, but it is not in my mind at the time being ,you can search for it at the net.

This is also my problem. I have tried almost all the options but still in vain.
use "performance progress%".
but to be carefull about unit cost in Base line and current plans. it will affect the summary% and also current%!!!
Dear Arnold,
Do you have any solution for this problem.? P6 software problem...
tq
Hi Kamarul,
Yes you are right. BL % Complete for (Activity, Duration, Costs & Units) does not roll-up in the summary band only Schedule % Complete.

Arnold
Hi Kamarul,
What Total %age do you mean? If your baseline schedule is cost-loaded, try to add one column the "Schedule % Complete".
Regards,
Arnold
Hi Kamarul,
Let me clear something, there is no (Total Baseline %). For baseline you can show "Schedule % Complete" when you are trying to compare against current (Performance % Complete).
When you are talking about summary, is this the Summary Band in the WBS Level 1?
Not showing anything, you mean it is "BLANK or ZERO"?
Regards,
Arnold
Dear Arnold,
Yes no showing anything "Blank".. all BASELINE etc: BL % duration % complete or BL1 if i attached another Baseline. All the total percentage didnt show anything " Blank" when summarized.

Dear Arnold,
My program is cost loaded. all the total percentage for current appear but for the total baseline not appear when i summarized. I cant find the error why.
Hi Kamarul,
Is your programme cost-loaded? If not, try to allocate the cost to your baseline as well as your current schedule.
Regards,
Arnold
HI arnold,
What i mean is the column for Baseline % (Total Baseline % column ) when i summarise. the total % not show anything.
