An easy way of doing this (if you have one) is to export a programme with Activity Codes to Excel. The result will show you what format the Excel needs to be in to allow Primavera to understand it. Then, delete the Activity codes and replace with the ones you need before importing into P6. I have done this successfully with Activity IDs / Names and dates / durations etc....but not with Activity coes, although in theory it should work. I know Primavera requires the at the beginning of each cell data.
can u elaborate more on how to use PATTLNK_632006_536-xerFileParser&Builder or guide us to a place we can find more information on this because i see for many quarries this seems to be the answer.

Hi Timmanna,
You have Three ways to perform with:
1. You need to have SDK (Dictionary6x.xls).
2. You can use the PATTLNK_632006_536-xerFileParser&Builder.
3. You can also link or connect to the database using MS Access or MS Excel.
Regards,
Arnold
