DON’T! Do not delete any of the 23 files that share the same first 4 letters and have each of the last 3 letters you call "extension".

A P3 project is stored in these 23 files whose name begins with the 4 letters or digits of the project name you have keyed in in the New Project dialog box; I am not sure of all the 3 letters, I willonly give some examples: CAL = list of calendars, HOL = list of days off in the calendars, WBS = Work Breakdown Structure, LAY = list of layouts, ... S50 = administrative file containing the user ID.
