Dear MD,

The AACE is currently posting a draft Recommended Practice (RP) entitled: “Recovery Scheduling – As Applied in Engineering, Procurement and Construction”.

This subject is along the lines of your topic. You might want to read it and learn more how the revised baseline is prepared.

With kind regards,

Superseeded only upon acceptance, still an agreement between two parties.

Baseline Schedule :( as defined under http://www.businessdictionary.com/definition/baseline-schedule.html , a kind of universal definition)

Fixed project schedule used in measuring project progress and contract performance. Any change caused by change in scope of the project invalidates the original schedule and necessitates a new baseline schedule.

From the following link you will find that a Recovery Programme upon acceptance shall become the new Baseline.

Acceptance might have the effect of a change in contract conditions; therefore both parties must be cautious.

Best regards,

Rafael
