Hi Merviliyne

You have demonstrate direct cause and effect of every event individually (causal nexus).

To do this each delay event has to be impacted on the baseline programme in strict chronological order of impact date.

After the impact you review the effect on:

1. The critical path

2. Relationship to youre As Built programme.

You do this in turn for every event.

It is no good just putting some new activities in and rescheduling because you will get a global result.

Also you must put in ALL delay events both client and contrsctor.

hi,

tnx guys....

I made a new one but I used my clause 14 as a baseline and add some additional works on it and update with the actual situations on site.

Any suggestions????

Hi Mervilene.

A Time Impact programme is usually accepted as the most reliable method of delay analysis.

However it does not work for delays to work in progress where an Impacted as Planned is the only available method.

Please let me know if your analysis is retrospective (forensic) of current work and I can advise you further.

Best regards
