Thanx guys,I really appreciate your help.
The issue is the consultant uses P3 and I am the contractor planner and we use P6.
-The contract stated that the used software will be Primavera without mentioning anything abt the version and nobody noticed-
Back to my problem, I removed every thing from the schedule now,its only time schedule but when I export it to P3 with day as unit, it gives me different dates.
I tried to export it with Hour as unit, it gave me the same dates but OD is in hrs
So after several trials, I couldnt find any way to make P3 convert these hours to days
Any Ideas?

There are restrictions to convert P6 to P3: hierarchical codes, resources, risks, longer descriptions, etc. If those items are not included in your project: shouldnt be a problem.
You are right with hours. If you export hours to hours - no problem. P6 internally calculates with hours.
If you export to days, a day will be calculated by the factor from your admin preferences or - if you are allowed to - from your user preferences.
E.g.: Preferences: 8 hours=1 day and activity-calendar: 10 hours=1 day will lead to 1.25days per project day.
Ask your contractor to use P6 (its cheaper and better) or use P3 with hours.

Your calender is in Hr. or day. if it is in Hr pls. change in days.
if you are using 2 diffrent calnder then .....it is big prob....

the consultant uses P3 and we use P6 so he requested the schedule in P3 version

you have to change the setting before converting the Project.

It is not advisable to convert project in Higher version to lower version,
Higher Ver is P6 Lower Version Is P3,
to fix the prob you may change in P6 User & Admin Prefer..setting , set Time prieod in Days. ,
