If you have cd: No. 3 (Dok) --> From P3 to P6
DVD: Client Applications --> English --> Dokumentation --> from ...
The RefManual has a good index and is very much in detail. Maybe youll ask for a training.

Thanks for your guidline
P3 schedule is without resources loaded.
Client urge prepared schedule in P6 for the entire project included all resource,
Client wants every thing in P6 Reporting , Histogram all Curves etc.
I got only P6 Manual i do not have other CDs & Dvds,,may be they will be head office,
Could you Please send relvent topic as you advise me to look up them in Cds.

The import will create the resources assigned in P3 automatically. As P6 has more parameters than P3, check and add.
On your P6 cds or dvd youll find under dokumentation --> "from P3 to P6" an excellent documentation. Read the help function, it will be a great support for you.

as sample as just import your P3 Schedule in P6
check all relation and actives have been imported.
thenyou can create a resource directory.listed out your resource in that.set there units and cost as required for your projects.
then assign resourcess to the activities acoordint to there nature.
may be some one else explain better then me
