Sorry Isabelle, it’s a Dilbert reference. The point I was making is that there are individuals who would buy and impose it on their organisations, just because they think it looks all shiny.



As for trying it myself, until it becomes compatible with Primavera products, I won’t have the opportunity to put it to serious use.

I suppose it depends on the market you’re pitching to... but if you’re wanting to nick MSP customers, you’ll need to match the compatability.

Whether Microsoft likes it or not, .mpp files can be pulled into P6, you may find that a portion of your potential customer base will not be able to take your software on board as their Clients insist on software that is Primavera compatible.



It looks nice and shiny though, pointy-haired managers might buy it anyway.
