Quick Access to Tables

Hi Mark

This is similar to Darrens solution - but will show you the name of the table.

Add a command to an existing toolbar (View > Toolbars > Customize).

Select the Commands tab, highlight View in the left-hand window. Then scroll down on right side and drag the Table command onto a suitable toolbar.

You can then view and change tables using this dialogue box

Thanks for the right click option. When I do this I also get the option to change tables which is just what I need.

What I really want is to see the name of the table on the screen.

Hi Mark,

You can use Trevor’s method although you don’t have to right-click. If you let the cursor hover over the top left corner of the table, it will display the name of Table and View currently being used.

To quickly move from one table to another you can add command to an existing toolbar (View > Toolbars > Customize).

Select the Commands tab, highlight All Commands in the left-hand window. Then scroll down and drag the Tables command onto a suitable toolbar.

The next time you want to change Tables, all you have to do is select the ‘More Tables...’ command on your toolbar and it’ll bring up a dialog box showing all the available Task and Resource tables.

Regards,

Darren

Right Click on the top left corner of the table, ie left of the column headings, above the id numbers.
