Hi Hermanth

I have picked up errors reading to or from addresses which are to long. Try to reduce the string lenth to the drive you are trying to access.

Hope this helps

Hemanth,

you appear to have two different troubles, not connected together; I will not address the MSP to PM6 link, that I do not know at all.

the "database" problem you have occured because the database where the project data are being stored was changed, moved or spoiled in some way

One question: are you using PM6 standalone or client-server? when PM6 is standalone, the database is a "small" SQL Server database, i.e. the MS database that replaces the MSDE database that comes with PM5

if you change the database definition in the login dialog box when launching PM6, then you can have the error message you’ve got

you should check the Administrator book that comes with PM6 and possibly erase the corresponding entries in the windows regsistry; I remember that uninstall + reinstall PM6 is not always enough

Hope this will help you

Hemanth,

this message means that somebody somehow has changed the database setup in the "Login to Primavera" dialog box; change the database back to its correct setup and you will not have the error message again

Hi Hemanth,

It happens also to me, but nothing to worry just select OK. I don’t have any idea why, perhaps it is part of debugs. I’m not sure..Any idea???
