I whole heartedly reccomend, Paul Harris book. I bought a copy and it is a great aid and really easily read.
Most people who have browsed it on my desk, intend to buy one and a few actually have.

Im also started in MS Project and switch to P3.1,P3.5e,P4.1e,P5e and now Im using P6, in which you are looking for a book for your reference.

Marchman does a book which understand has a lot of theory but I do not have a copy of this book. This may suit you better if you are looking for PM type of stuff.
The user manuals on the Primavera CDs are not too bad but there are no worked examples and do not go to the places where the software does not work which is my specialty.
If you buy a book make sure it has been updated for Version 6!
