Alex,
Project, Filter for, Critical Task
1.Is the last task in your schedule a milestone? then MS Project does not display critical milestones in red and not-critical ones in blue as it does for norlmal tasks
Is the last task milestone a critical one?
2. Do you have recurring tasks in your schedule?
then check the Start No Earlier Than date of the last occurence, and the one before last, ... until you find that this occurence is starting later than the last task at the bottom of the schedule
Hope this help
Alexandre
Check the Schedule Table to see the ES, EF, LS, LF, free slack and total slack.
Run the Gantt Chart Wizard to format Critical Tasks red.
Check Tools, Options, calculation to see that Critical is defined as zero total slack.
Tools | Options | Calculation-tab.
Put a check mark in the box "Calculate multiple critical paths"

(I *so* miss NZ -- did the Milford, went as far north as 90 Mile Beach, would love to live in Napier.)
