Towers Time schedule

Hi Zeinab.

It is very simple.

Imagine you are building a tower.

If you have not actually built a tower then you will have to rely on your imagination.

Start at the beginning with the foundations.

The design will tell you what type.

Then start at the begining with the very first activity and then progress to the next and to the next and so on.

When the foundations are finished go on to the superstructure.

Taking into account the nature of the structure progress floor by floor.

If the footprint of the structure reduces at higher levels you must allow for uprising scaffolding. This means that lower levels achieve weathertight conditions later than the higher.

You will now be ready to consider your cladding.

Be aware of the "Method Statement". Is it top down or follow up - this is crucial to the next stage - E&M & fit out.

When you have got your milestones for E&M plant and risers in place then you will have to set up the links for the Fit Out - Floor by floor horizontals etc.

After the fit out the E&M commissioning always takes longer than anyone thinks 5 weeks minimum.

Thats the best I can do for now.

Best regards
