You don’t need Excel, P3 has the capability to do EVA.



BCWS or Planned Value (Budget)

If your baseline schedule is cost-loaded you can run it to get BCWS whether you want it weekly or monthly.



BCWP or Earned Value:

P3 calculates this as your current % complete x budget of an activity. You can also use UDF and use global change to get the cost per activity.



ACWP or Actual Cost:

This is actual cost and manually logged in P3. These are cost coming from your Subcon Invoices, salaries, POs to Suppliers.



SV or Schedule Variance = BCWP-BCWS

CV or Cost Variance = BCWP-ACWP



From above you can get SPIs & CPIs.

Cost and content wise, its pretty cheap. Can purchase though.
