First, as a Company Client, I couldnt agree with this thing, otherwhise, like Gerome suggested, you could get big troubles due to your own involvement but it could have negative consequence on corporate image of your company.
Moreover, your Client is paying you for a dedicated work and not to help anybody else all the more again its profit!
I suggest you also to be honnest with your Client, either to explain the situation either you shall work on it outside your working hours.
good luck,
Frederic

Please read the other thread on this subject... am i going crazy or is this the same one ???
I am sure we all agreed to a big hug ???
Anyway... (Note to self - flashbacks are not good)
We agreed on the other thread that you should not help you friend.
Advice out of work can be ok, but if he is a friend he should understand about client conflict.
You could get in big trouble for this.
Your friend works for a company who should pay for this service - It not cheap and should not be done by you. Give him your bosss number and see if your company can help. ?

Tough call, but I would decline the request from your friend. It is likely to sour your relationship with your client and could lead to a conflict of interest. Your friend should understand, your client probably will not.
Suggest a reputable competitor of yours to your friend. Tough spot, I do not envy you.

Hi Khalil,
My opinion only,
It is very hard to answer.
There is no straigthforward answere relative to ethics nowadays.
This is now depending on an individual convictions, experience, moral values, philosphy and needs.
Who are we to judge???
Cheers,
