Yes, that’s possible. For each change, you can see the delta’s and you can decide to incorporate or reject that change.
It’s a heavy command (which is not strange, given the vast amount of data it needs process when your schedule is big) but it works quite well.

Thanks GuyS!
Guess I have to work around it until I get P6 :). This track change seems interesting. I wonder if the changes are as clear as Microsoft word and excel, where you can even reject changes..

Hi.
Scenario 3: P6 now have copy baseline function.

Jerry,
This is a new feature in P6, as you were obviously not the only one having this problem.
Be careful if you have timesheet entries associated with your schedule because than a simple copy paste wont work.
In that case you will probably also like the new reflections feature in P6, allowing you to make a copy of an active project and track the changes you make. After that, you can decide step by step which changes you want to incorporate in your original schedule.

Hi Jerry,
The difference in p3 with p5 is that you cant open a p3 current project if you did not include your baseline. In p5, it is much flexible since you can create more than one baseline depending on your project status. I believe that baseline is use to compare your current schedule and if you wish to update your target based on current schedule you can do it easily in maintain baseline.. then update. Lastly, if there is a need to revise your schedule, you dont need to go from the start. You can edit and revise your current schedule, save a copy as your baseline. Just be careful in assigning your project baseline with primary, secondary etc.
