And dont forget to Summarize your projects too, as some of the data appearing on the Projects screen for closed projects is not live, but is what was correct at the last summarization.

On my side, to fit to your request, I would create specific filters.
For example, you only want the projects where the Project Manager(s) is (are)under one specific Dpt. You can filter on Resource ID Name is under... and you choose the correct Dpt in the list.
You can as well filter on one Responsible Manager (Resource ID Name equal...).
You can do the same by filtering on Data Date, Project IDs...
So, when you are in the Project Window, you just have to select the filter to get the result.
If necessary, you can save a layout with the filter you created, if you have to do this selection often.
