Thank you Ronald

Installation will be Sep 11. We need some of the enhancements. Therefore we’ll install so early. In general I prefer to wait for the first patch.

Dieter,

I concur with your PAR; they should do the install. Refer to http://www.planningplanet.com/forum/forum_post.asp?fid=1&Cat=8&Top=37287 for hardware requirements. Only computers with XP Professional or Vista Professional will qualify for the stand-alone upgrade.

I spent a week installing my P6 upgrade while a friend of mine spent 60 minutes on overseas telephone support to install his. SQL 2005 Express is no where as forgiving as MSDE was. Good luck!

Hi Susan

We were informed, that during this month it will be delievered to customers.

Our PAR informed us, that this time we’ll better let them install the upgrade.

Thanks for the inputs.

Does anybody know when P6 will be released ? I notice that even ’Progress Line’ function is absent in P5 !

I print to PDF and then use Acrobat to delete the boxes of text for Start, Finish, % and total Float in the summary bars.

Hi Susan,

I also experienced the same with you...

The last thing I did just for presentation purposes...

1. Create User Define Field - Start

2. Global Change : Start = Start

3. View the UDF on activity table

It did gave a date on activities without summary dates...

Hope it helps.

Thanks a lot Dieter,

I tried it already !

What I want is to remove the summarized dates from the Start & Finish Columns (Activity Table).

Any suggestions ?

Thanks

Susan

Hi Susan

Move the mouse into the bar chart --> click right button --> Bars --> Select bar "Summary" - the one whose filter is "summary" --> select "Bar Labels" --> select the data item you don’t want to be displayed --> "Delete"

Good luck

Dieter
