Hi,
Yes! Vista does not support P5.0 database. The PMDB uses MSDE database for standalone applications. However, if you upgrade your MSDE database to full blown MS SQL Server 2000 (or higher version) then there will be no problem in use with Vista.

The problem is that P5 uses an MSDE database for stand alone installes. Vista doesnt support MSDE and P6 will have MS SQLServer 2005 delivered with it for Vista support.
P4 doenst use MSDE, so that might work on Vista.
Thanks!
So does it mean that I can install P4 on Vista but not P5?
I suggest that you read an earlier thread on this subject at http://www.planningplanet.com/forum/forum_post.asp?fid=1&Cat=8&Top=25812. Good luck!
Hi Suraj,
I think better use P3 in XP environment and MS Office 2003.
Also be wary of MS Office 2007.
Cheers,
Joseph
Youll have to wait for P6.
P5 doesnt work under Vista
