If the predecessor is not started yet, you shoud be able to delete it ; and you then just have to create it again. By deleting it, you delete the wrong links.
U can export the activities relationships to an excel sheet in which ull be filtering for those 50 activities.
Once u export the file, open it and delete all the predecessor data (eg. columns titled: Predecessor, Predecessor Activity Name, Relationship Type, etc..).
Predecessor assignment is a list. So you cannot use e.g. "Fill Cell" or equivalent. You really have to touch each activity and to remove the relationship. You can make life easier, if you reduce the view by a filter to just those activities you want to remove their prodecessors.
If you are a programmer the API would be possible. But then it would need a filter, too.

i think u cant remove a SET of predecessors.
U can remove the entire relationships, by replacing the file ***REL.p3 with a blank file.
i m afraid, its not possible!!
