Apparently you can’t claim this mark up separately as this is already included in your profit and overheads on the said item. Further you need to seek contractual provisions as well as Tender documents to clear on that issue

I think your contract document shall have specified what your mark up shall include. Please check.

Hello Sermet,



It is a mark-up on procurement of material for variations calculation. Your appendix must have the manhour rates and the equipment rates.

Hi,



As per my experience this mark-up is to cover the cost of procurement effort which the contractor spend on ordering.



Once the equipmet/material is delivered to site, the cost incurred in warehousing and storage etc are part of Construction and not procurement so you must charge for it.
