thanks for the advice , i believe i will go for the WBS to detail the project further , i will take note fro your other post i saw where u mentioned the way the project should be broken down.

Hammock is almost the same as level of effort. If you breakdown your activity to WBS, then you can define that Activity as WBS and the detail activities will be the breakdown of your WBS activity. You WBS activity then will have an automatic duration based on the earliest start and last finish date of your detail activity. You can also use hammock but you need to define the predecessor (SS relationship) of the first detail activity and successor (FF relationship) of the last detail activity.
