Could we do it or not?

I assume the activity was a planned one, and not complete or in progress at the time it was removed from scope?

Hi Shahul

If there has been an instruction to omit an element of the work from the contract that should only reduce the contract period by way of adjustment in an EoT claim.

So in your case where there is an EoT situation the contract period can be reduced by the time allowed for the omitted work.

Don’t just delete the task - turn it ito a milestone and add the word "deleted" to the discription.

Dear Shahul,

You need to understand the overall impact and the size of the revised scope.

If the activity is cancelled, then you need to update the program of works to represent the actual work that is going to really happen.

After updating the program of works, then you can do the TIA.

With kind regards,

Samer
